What Are We Raising Money For?
Proceeds will be used for a school building project in Nigeria.

About The Schools: There are two Christian school campuses in Nigeria. One is in Koti-Yough (pronounced ko-tee-yoe), a very poor, rural area. There is also one in Makurdi (Ma-kur-dee) which is a little more urban. The schools serve close to 2,000 children ranging from grades K – 9. Both schools have been accredited by the Nigerian government. They each have a local pastor from the Presbyterian Church acting as a chaplain, and all teachers give Bible lessons. These schools have gained a reputation for high moral and academic standards leading to an explosion in enrolment.

About The Project: The average class size is currently 75 students. Four classrooms are being added to each school this year for a total budgeted cost of $89,000. The construction will include a cement roof, which will provide the possibility of adding another storey in the future. With the exception of furniture and a few other categories, operating costs (teacher salaries etc.) are fully covered through school fees paid by parents.

Please help us reach our goal of $15,000 towards the completion of this worthwhile project!
